About

Hawaii’s Signature Salt

Indulge in a culinary adventure that weaves together tradition and innovation, inspired by Kaua`i’s mesmerizing red earth and the rare salt it creates. Harvested in volcanic red clay ponds flooded with seawater, red salt, or ʻalaea, has long been used in Hawaiian culture for cooking, cleansing, purification and blessings.

An homage to this sacred ingredient and the Garden Isle’s many other gifts from the land, Red Salt restaurant offers an acclaimed dining experience that combines fresh local ingredients, exceptional presentation and top-quality service. Oceanfront views from every table draw guests in while diverse and captivating menus demand a repeat visit to ensure you get a chance to taste it all.
